Once again Kent and Medway residents have the chance to apply for free entry tickets to many popular attractions in Kent over the weekend of 23rd/24th March.
The closing date for applications is the 18th February and tickets are allocated by ballot. Over the last few years we have usually been lucky enough to get tickets and had some enjoyable days out.
Participating attractions this year include Leeds Castle, Wildwood, The Historic Dockyard and Royal Engineers Museum.
For further details please see the Big Weekend web site http://www.mykentbigweekend.co.uk
Good Luck!
UPDATE - we won tickets for the Canterbuy Tales....

I can never quite get the hang of ballots like this and the London Open House. It seems to me that you spend a lot of time applying for stuff that you might or might not get. Well, my new year's resolution was to do far more Kentish activities this year. We went to Faversham in Feb and hope to visit Rochester and Chatham in March.
ReplyDeleteHi Emm, you will enjoy Rochester. The cathedral is well worth a visit and free to enter. Lots of small quirky shops in the High St too. Castle is also interesting. In Chatham would recommend a visit to the historic dockyard and/or Fort Amherst.
